Background Info

☆☆Hi friends! My name is Lauren Faria, Miss Southeast Texas' Outstanding Teen. I'm 18 years old and a recent graduate of Flower Mound High School, and in my final year of age eligibility for Miss Texas' Outstanding Teen. 

I'm proud and excited to represent my friends and family as I compete for the state title in June and hopefully, Miss America's Outstanding Teen. I'm more than ready and embrace this opportunity!!! 

I'm very active within my community and on social media. I've received Congressional and ROTC service nominations for admission to three academies: West Point, Naval and Air Force. I'm a NASA High School Aerospace Scholar, squad leader for my high school marching band, Air Force Junior ROTC MSS Commander, a Gold Award Girl Scout, served as a Presidential Election Student Clerk, and work as a hostess for Giro's Pizza in Highland Village. I'm excited and honored to announce I've received and accepted a summer appointment to the United States Naval Academy Preparatory School (NAPS) - class of 2022 and will receive an appointment to the United States Naval Academy (USNA) - class of 2026.

My wish is to work with NASA and help astronauts land on Mars while mentoring our youth and giving back to our community. I'm driven by stories of sacrifice from both sets of my immigrant grandparents, so I never take the opportunities I've been given for granted.
